Oil prices rose more than two dollars a barrel amid investors' fears of an escalation of conflict in the Middle East which could disrupt oil supplies. The reports of the US Military's attack on Iranian targets in Syria also favoured the rise in
prices.
In intra-day trade, Brent crude was trading at 89 dollars and 38 cents per barrel. Western Texas Intermediate crude price was trading at 84 dollars and 62 cents per barrel when reports last came in.
