Oil Prices Slide Over 2% Amid Recession Fears and Trade Tensions

Oil prices extended their downward slide today as escalating trade tensions stoked fear of a recession that would reduce demand for crude. Brent Crude was trading over two per cent down at 64 dollars and 21

cents per barrel. WTI Crude was also trading over 2.2 per cent down at 60 dollars and 59 cents per barrel when reports last came in.
