Shares of Reliance Industries soared over 2 per cent, hitting fresh record high, on the Bombay Stock Exchange after its telecom arm Jio raised plan rates by reducing the validity period. Following the announcement, shares of the company gained as much as 2.15 per cent to touch 52-week high of Rs 69.80
apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar fashion, shares of the company were trading 1.34 per cent higher at Rs 922.10 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 32,333.74, down 56.22 points, or 0.17 per cent, at 12:05 hours.
