India’s total exports of merchandise and services in April 2024 is estimated to be 64.56 billion dollars against 60.40 billion dollars in April 2023. The data shows a positive growth of 6.88 percent on a yearly basis.
As per the data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Country’s merchandise exports grew by 1.08 percent at 34.99 billion dollars in April 2024 as compared to 34.62 billion dollars in April 2023. Main drivers of merchandise
exports growth during April 2024 include Electronic Goods, Organic & Inorganic Chemicals, Petroleum Products and Drugs & Pharmaceuticals. Electronic goods exports increased by 25.8 percent from 2.11 billion dollars in April 2023 to 2.65 billion dollars in April 2024.
As per the data, Merchandise imports in April 2024 were 54.09 billion dollars, as compared to 49.06 billion dollars in April 2023.
