Woman passenger slaps Air India staff at Delhi Airport over ticket issue; investigation ordered

NEW DELHI: A woman passenger allegedly slapped an Air India official at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) on Tuesday.

The woman was who was travelling from Delhi to Ahmedabad reported late at the counter, said sources at the airport.

A scuffle broke out between the traveller and the airline staff over the issue of the air ticket. Following this, the woman



slapped the official.

An investigation has been ordered in the matter.

"A lady passenger going to Ahmedabad arrived late at the airport and missed her flight. There was argument between the duty manager and her, following which some altercation took place. That altercation has now been resolved with the help of security and police," said an Air India official.
