​40 held for gambling by Hyderabad task force

Hyderabad:​ The Hyderabad Task Force raided a ​prominent ​star hotel in the city ​late on Thursday night ​and arrested about 40 persons ​on charges of gambling​.

​According to officials, the arrested ​persons include



organisers​ of the gambling session​, punters​ who were participating in it and hotel managers and suppliers​ as well​. About Rs​ ​23 lakh ​in ​cash, liquor and hookah material ​too were seized​, Task Force officials said​.
