8-year-old Arab boy is battling for his life after he was run over by a speeding car

An 8-year-old Arab boy is battling for his life after he was run over by a speeding car driven by an Emirati in Al Dhaid road on Monday.

The accident took place when the boy tried to cross the road to go to a supermarket. The police have arrested the driver and are interrogating



him.

Police got a call at the operations room, informing them about the mishap. A police traffic expert, patrol and ambulance were immediately dispatched to the site. The team reached the spot in a short time and swung into action. They rushed the boy to Al Dhaid hospital and he was admitted in the ICU.
