13-year old girl raped in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by the son of her employer at Humayunagar, the police said on Thursday.

The victim, whose parents died a few years ago, lives at the house of her employer, Abdul Mannan, along with his nine-year-old sister, does household chores. Earlier, the victim’s elder sister also worked at the same house but



later discontinued for some reasons.

“The girl told us that her employer’s son Rizwan had raped her twice in last one year and threatened her of dire consequences if she revealed about the assault to anyone,” Inspector Humayunnagar S. Ravinder said.

The incident came to light on Thursday after the victim approached police.
