15-year-old girl raped by youth in UP

Muzaffarnagar (UP): A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth here, police said on Tuesday.

According to a complaint filed by the victim's father with the police on Monday, the youth took the girl to his house and raped her there, they said.

The accused also threatened her of dire consequences if she revealed the matter to anyone, police said.

A case has been registered, they said, adding



the accused is absconding.

In another incident, a 16-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly sexually harassed by two youths in the Charthawal area of the district on Monday, police said.

The two accused have been arrested, they added.

Similarly, two youths were arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a minor girl in the Purkazi area, police said.
