19-year-old youth ends life in Barkas, Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 19-year-old youth hanged himself to death at his house in Barkas on Wednesday, police said. According to the Chandrayangutta police, Faisal Jabri, a resident of Rohailwadi in Barkas, came home early on Wednesday after getting his motorcycle repaired at a servicing station. He went to his bedroom to sleep. But, around 11 am, when his mother knocked on the door, Faisal did not respond.

She alerted



the neighbours, who broke open the door. They found Faisal hanging from the ceiling fan. The police shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem examination, after which it was handed over to the family.

A case under Section 174 of the CrPC was registered. The police are trying to ascertain the reason behind Jabri taking the extreme step.
