Hyderabad:Enforcement wing of Excise Department officials seized 200 kilograms of ganja at the toll gate on Outer Ring Road at Munthangi in Patancheru mandal in Sangareddy district on late Saturday evening. The Excise Department officials also seized two cars and nabbed four persons.
Speaking to news reporters here on Sunday, Dy Commissioner Excise Department, KAB Sastry said that Devendar Aman Pal, a native of Odisha and Sanjeev, a native of Nagulgidda in Sangareddy
district, have seen selling ganja aiming industrial workers and college going students for a while. Based on a tip off, Sastry said that they have caught the duo while they were transporting the ganja worth Rs 20 lakh to Mumbai. They had reportedly brought it from Vishakapatnam. They also arrested car drivers Manikanta and Jai Singh, natives of Patancheru area. Superintendent of Excise Department, Chandraiah and others were present.
