21-year man commits suicide in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 21-year-old man died by suicide at this apartment block in Gaddiannaram, Malakpet police said. The incident occurred after a tiff with his parents. Police said the victim, Janpala Dilip, was rushed to a private hospital in the same locality where the doctor declared him dead.

It was alleged that Dilip on October 8, took  Rs 1.2 lakh from his father Janpala Subash’s almirah without permission and went missing and switched off his phone. Subash and



Dilip’s brother Satish began searching for him and traced him to his friend M. Vamshi house in Gaddiannaram. The two were found consuming liquor, along with a friend, P. Abhilash.

The family took Dilip back home, where he told them that his friends had badly beaten him in their car and snatched the money from him. His parents did not believe him and insisted that he get the money back. Dilip had recently lost his job.
