A 28-year-old analyst, a new mother suffering from health problems, committed suicide by jumping from the eleventh floor of her office at Madhapur on Thursday.
The victim, M Sravani, was the wife of Ramakrishna from Madinaguda in Miyapur. She was an analyst at PrimEra Medical Technologies, located on the 9th floor of Melange Tower, Madhapur. Ramakrishna works for a pharma company. Sravani had married Ramakrishna one-and half-year ago and they have a four month-old son. At 9.30 am on Thursday, Sravani left home to go to office. At 10.13 am, she committed suicide by jumping from the eleventh floor of
Melange Towers, Madhapur police said.
Sravani’s mother Easwaramma, who came from Chittoor to Sravani’s house on Thursday morning, said her daughter was suffering from health issues. “I spoke to her in the morning and she left home saying she was going for work,” Easwaramma said.
In her statement to police, Easwaramma said Sravani was suffering from sinusitis, headaches and health issues since her delivery and they might be the reason for her suicide. Police registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and shifted the body for an autopsy. They also recovered CCTV footage.
