28-yr old son murdered his mother

A 28-year- old man brutally murdered his mother after she refused to give him money for alcohol. It is learnt that the accused, Pirrala Mahesh had earlier killed his father over an argument.

Police informed that Mahesh, who hails from Dudyala village in Bomraspet mandal was employed as a cook in a Hyderabad college. He had come to visit his home town as it was harvest time in his village three days back.

style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Knowing that his mother sold her crop and got Rs 1,500 for it, Mahesh in a drunken state demanded the money. However, the police stated that on refusal, Mahesh hit his mother on the head with a stone.

While she died on the spot, Mahesh then dragged the body into the house. Neighbours witnessed the blood stains and informed their relatives. A case of murder has been regisitered against Mahesh and police have detained him for questioning.
