3 kilograms gold seized at Shamshabad Airport

Hyderabad: The custom officials of Shashabad airport have seized 3 kilograms of gold from passenger on Tuesday morning. The passenger reportedly arrived from Dubai and hid the gold in his shoes. The custom officials seized the gold and detained the passenger.

Over the



last one year, gold smuggling into the country has been growing. Despite taking tight measures to curb the illegal transfer, Hyderabad’s RGIA is being targeted by the smugglers. Not just gold, drugs like cocaine, marijuana were also caught by the custom officers.
