3-year-old baby raped by man

A three-year-old girl was raped by a man at Tatigadapa village in Penamaluru mandal of Krishna district.

Robin Biswas, 22, a native of West Bengal came to Tatigadapa around six months ago and was working as a mason at a construction site. He often used to play with the victim, who lived in the neighbouring house.

At around 8.20pm on Friday , Biswas tempted the girl with biscuits and took her to a shop. While the girl's mother did not suspect his intentions as he was known to



them, she started worrying when he did not return even after an hour. She then informed her husband and they started searching the area. They finally found their child crying in a field on the outskirts of the village. She was bleeding profusely .They rushed her to the Vijayawada government hospital and then lodged a complaint with the cops.

Penamaluru police arrested Biswas and booked a case under POCSO Act and section 376(2)(B). The child's condition is stable.
