467 gram of gold of foreign origin was seized from a passenger at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here on Thursday.
According to officials, it was based on a specific intelligence input that Customs officers of the Air Intelligence Unit at RGIA
frisked the passenger, who had arrived from Muscat on an Oman Airlines flight this morning.
They found 467gm of gold, valued at Rs.13.64 lakh concealed in the form of foils between the layers of a corrugated box that the passenger had with him.
