7 eve-teasers nabbed by SHE police in Hyderabad

SHE Teams of Hyderabad City Police have nabbed seven delinquents in three cases of eve-teasing in different parts of the city. In the first case, three miscreants, all students, were nabbed while teasing and stalking women who visited the NTR Park.

The students -- Rajender Phad, 24, Srinivas Solanki, 18, and Munde Praveen Kund, 18 -- of Adilabad District had arrived in the city to appear for some postal exam and stayed back to go around city tourist spots. While they were sitting in the park, they saw a few girls and went to them and commented.

When the girls left, the trio followed them and tried to take a selfie with them. Even as the harassed girls were trying to avoid them, the mischief mongers followed them. The entire episode was videographed by the SHE Teams.

The



trio was arrested, produced before the court, along with their parents, who were called by the magistrate from Adilabad to attend court. In the second case, at Dilsuknagar bus stop, a woman was waiting for a bus.

One T Anjaneyulu, 62, a resident of Vanasthalipuram, came there and stood beside her. The sexagenarian tried to touch the woman’s hand keeping a mobile phone in his hand. When she moved away from him, he got closer to her and repeated the act.Even after she moved to another place, he again went there and stood beside her and started behaving in the same manner. Frightened at this, the woman started to go away from the bus stop. The SHE Team recorded the entire scene and asked the woman about the issue.
