7-yr-old girl allegedly raped, murdered on her birthday

A seven-year-old girl’s body was found with bruises and nail and teeth bites on Monday in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.

The girl was supposed to celebrate her birthday on the same day. 

Officials informed that the victim was a Class I student and was found with her clothes partially torn in



a haystack near Gori Kothapalli village of Regonda block.

The police stated that it appeared she was raped before being strangled to death. A case of murder has been registered by the police.

The girl had stepped out of her house on Sunday after dinner to watch a candle-light procession.
