The wife of an Army Major died under suspicious circumstances at her house in Bolarum, Secunderabad on Tuesday, April 18, the police said on Monday. The 30-year-old woman worked as a Radio Jockey with Radio Charminar, a community radio channel in the city.
The couple Vishnav Vishal Sharma (29) and woman Sandhya Singh (31), from Uttar Pradesh, got married 18 months ago.
According to the police, the woman reportedly hanged herself in the Army quarters at Allenby Lines under the Bolarum police station limits on the night of April 18. The police who received the information the next day shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital after registering a case under 304 (B) of Indian Penal Code.
Vaishnav is working with the 54 Infantry Division of the Army stationed at Bolarum. On April 18, Vaishnav too was at home, the police said. The next
