Auto-rickshaw driver murdered in Mancherial, Telangana State

Mancherial: An auto-rickshaw driver was murdered allegedly by his son at Indaram village in Jaipur mandal late on Thursday night.

Police said that the bodyof Avidapu Rajaiah (45) was found in a pool of blood. His son Sai Siddharth (17) and two of his friends allegedly cut his throat in his residence at around 12.30 am. Siddharth then surrendered himself before police and confessed to killing his father.

Police officials said that Siddharth admitted to murdering his father



for harassing him by getting addicted to liquor and neglecting his family. He confessed to the involvement of his two friends in the killing. His friends, both teenagers hailed from neighbouring villages. He disclosed that he was vexed at his father’s torture and planned to kill him.

Rajaiah’s family members including wife and daughter were not present at the time of the murder. Police inspected the spot of the crime and gathered details of the incident
