Chain snatcher arrested in Hyderabad

The Madhapur police on Friday arrested Poola Sudhir Kumar, in connection with four chain snatching cases registered under the Uppal and Madhapur police station limits.

Police said Sudhir Kumar, along with his friend Ramesh had robbed a 26-year-old woman while she was walking home in Kakatiya Hills in Madhapur. In Uppal, he snatched a two tola gold chain from a



woman, police said, adding that he was involved in two other similar cases in Madhapur.

He was arrested from the city outskirts with the police recovering four gold chains weighing ten tolas from him. He was produced before the court and remanded in judicial custody, while a search is on for three of his accomplices.
