CID inspector held for sending vulgar messages to woman in Karimnagar

An inspector working with Crime Investigation Department of Telangana Police was arrested for allegedly sending vulgar messages to a woman.
The accused, Dayakar Reddy, was arrested following a complaint lodged by a woman of Srinagar Colony in
Karimnagar. The victim alleged that the inspector was sending her absence messages through SMS and WhatsApp. After preliminary investigation, Dayakar Reddy was arrested under Nirbhaya Act and produced before a court. He has been sent to judicial remand.
