Daughters killed by mother in Hyderbad, arrested

Two minor girls, 8-year-old Ashwika and 2-year-old Anwishka were allegedly killed by their mother in Hyderabad. The mother has been taken into custody, according to reports.

The father of the deceased Vinay Chukte got apprised of the untoward incident when he returned home after his day’s work from Begumpet. The bodies of the girls were found under the bed and



bathroom respectively.

Chukte immediately approached the police. The police trailed on the mother after garnering inputs and found her at the Hussainsagar Lake who was trying to commit suicide.

The mother, on being enquired of her motive behind the murders, said that she killed her daughters because they were being abused by their father.
