Commissioner of Police shoots himself and commits suicide with his service
revolver at his residence.
On hearing the news, his wife reportedly jumped from the sixth floor of the apartment and is now in critical condition, police said on Tuesday. "She has been admitted in a private hospital in a critical condition," a police official said.
The body of ACP Amit Singh, who was posted with Special Cell of Delhi Police, was recovered from his house in Sector 100 late Monday.

batch, was also assaulted in a case of road rage in 2014 in Delhi.
Singh was survived by his wife and a two-year-old child.
A team of Delhi Police immediately reached the spot and started a probe to find out the reason behind the extreme steps taken by Singh and his wife.
