Father arrested over complaint of sex with daughter in Andhra Pradesh

Anantapur: A father engaged in sex with his daughter for the past three years and recently aborted her pregnancy by using papaya fruit at Guddampalli village in Madakasira mandal of the Sri Satya Sai district.

 

The victim was rescued after she approached an NGO. The father has been arrested.

 

Police said a shepherd family was residing in the Guddampalli village. The father enticed his daughter when his wife was engaged in sheep rearing in the adjacent



forests.

 

The girl was pregnant six months ago, father forced her to consume papaya fruit to abort the pregnancy. Following this, the daughter  approached the RDT staff and pleaded that she be rescued from her father.

 

On Saturday evening, the RDT team went to the village and later lodged a complaint with the Madakasira police station inspector. Following this, the father was arrested. The girl would be sent to a rescue home, police said.
