Five-year-old girl sexually assaulted by 13-yr-old boy in Hyderabad

A five-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a 13-year-old boy at his house at First Lancer on Friday.

The survivor’s mother travels a lot as part of her work. She recently went to Mumbai. At that time, she left her daughter at a friend’s place at First Lancer.

On Friday evening, the woman returned to Hyderabad and picked up her daughter from First Lancer. “After reaching home, the girl told her mother that she was suffering from severe stomach pain. The woman took the girl to a hospital. Doctors, who examined the girl, told her mother that she was sexually assaulted,” Humayun Nagar inspector N L N Raju



said.

After listening to the doctors, the victim’s mother asked her daughter what had happened in the past few days.

The girl told her mother that the 13-year-old son of the woman in whose house she was staying, sexually assaulted her,” the inspector said.

The victim’s mother confronted the woman’s family and then lodged a complaint with Humayun Nagar police.

Based on the complaint lodged by the victim’s mother, Humayun Nagar police registered a case under Section 376 (rape) of the IPC and relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
