Foreign currency seized at Hyderabad airport

Hyderabad: The customs officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport seized foreign currency valued at Rs 54 lakh from two passengers here on Tuesday.

The passengers travelling in EK-525 flight bound from Dubai to Hyderabad had



concealed the currency in the baggage.

Following a tip-off, the customs officials caught the passengers and seized the currency from them.

The customs officials have booked a case.
