Gambling gang busted in Hyderabad, five held

The Rachakonda Special Operations Team raided a gaming house and arrested five persons for gambling at Bairamalguda near Sagar Ring Road in LB Nagar here on Tuesday.

The arrested persons were identified as E Bhaskar Reddy, M Venkatesh, Ch Venkatesh, B Krishna and S Devender.

Following a tip-off, the SOT raided the premises



and caught them. Bhaskar Reddy has been organising gambling for the last four months and collected betting money from his friends and known punters.

Police seized Rs 1.8 lakh cash, playing cards, five mobile phones and other material from them. They were handed over to the LB Nagar police for further action.
