Karimnagar (Telangana): An intermediate student was found murdered under suspicious circumstances at her residence in Vidhyanagar here on Monday evening. The police suspect the role of former tenants in the house in the gruesome murder.
Radhika, an intermediate first year student in Sahasra Junior College, Karimnagar, stayed alone in the house as her parents Komuraiah and Odamma went for daily wage works. Unknown persons entered the house in the afternoon and killed Radhika by slitting her throat with a knife and fled the spot.
Neighbours,
who found the girl in a pool of blood in the evening, informed the matter to her parents and also alerted police. One Poshalu, his wife Lachavva and their son used to stay in their house.
Komuraiah, Radhika’s father, said he forced Poshalu’s family to vacate the house as the latter was creating a nuisance by consuming alcohol. So, Poshalu and his family members developed a grudge on him. They might have been involved in the crime, they said. The police, along with dog squad, rushed to the spot and searched the area.
