Girl kills drunkard dad in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Upset over her alcoholic father admonishing her frequently, his daughter killed him at Amberpet. Police said Nikitha slashed her father Jagadish's throat with a broken glass piece on Saturday night. He died undergoing treatment in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to the Amberpet police, Jagadish, 45 was working as a daily wage labourer and was a resident of Tulasiramnagar, along with his wife Satyamma and daughter Nikitha, who was working in a fruit stall.

Jagadish would frequently quarrel with his



daughter and also admonished her for coming late from work. On Saturday night around 9.30 pm, when she returned home from work, Jagadish picked up a quarrel with her and admonished her. In a fit of rage, she picked up a broken glass piece and attacked him with it, leaving him with severe injuries.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment, said Amberpet station house officer Ashok. Police registered a murder case against Nikitha and started an investigation.
