History-sheeter murdered in old city of Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 30-year-old history-sheeter, Sheikh Saeed Bawazir, was murdered in the Old City late on Thursday night, the Bandlaguda police said on Friday. He had recently posted a video on social media platforms claiming that he faced threat to his life.

Police said Bawazir was involved in an attempt to murder, Pocso case and assault cases and had been held under the Preventive Detention Act. Bawasir was also known for



posting videos critical of ministers, legislators and public representatives. In the past, he was also associated with a political party but quit it.

Bawazir, a resident of Salala, has recently opened a construction business in Bandlaguda. On Thursday night, when he was in the shop, three persons, including his friend, also a rowdy-sheeter, stabbed him repeatedly.
