Home guard kills girl in Hyderabad

A home guard murdered a 19-year-old girl in Hyderabad for rejecting his love proposal. The accused, Sagar with the help of two others attacked the victim, Venkatalakshmi in Yousufguda.

The girl, hailing from East Godavari district, was working in a jewelry shop and was reportedly alone during the time of the

The accused slit her throat on Monday and fled from the spot. The police arrested the key accused while he was fleeing after committing the crime. Sagar worked as the home guard in Warangal. The parents of the girl informed that the accused was harassing her for the last six months.
