Husband forced wife to have sexual contact with his uncle, arrested

A woman allegedly being subjected to sexual harassment by her husband and in-laws was registered at the Santoshnagar police station.The woman approached the police, accusing her husband, Muzammil, of forcing her to have sex with his uncle Mubeen. She married Muzammil six months ago.

“She charged her husband with impotence and pressuring her to have a relationship with his uncle. When she resisted, he thrashed her,” DCP (south) V Satyanarayana said.

She also accused her in-laws of cheating. At the time of



marriage, they told her that Muzammil was working in a government company in Saudi Arabia and he would take her there. Her parents gave Rs 5 lakh cash and jewellery to the in-laws.

The woman told the police that Mubeen misbehaved with her on March 6 when she was alone at her in-laws’ home. They left for Saudi Arabia a month ago. The woman approached the Santoshnagar police on March 11 and lodged a complaint, following which a case under Sections 354A, 354B and, 498A of the Indian Penal Code was registered against them.
