Hyderabad couple ends life by jumping into river Godavari

Kothagudem:  A couple has ended life by jumping into river Godavari at Burgampad in the district and their dead bodies were found during late evening hours of Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Pammi Hemalatha (48) and her husband Pammi Laxmana Chary (55), both tailors and residents of ECIL area in Hyderabad.

They were said to have left their house 10 days back due to some health issues and were mentally disturbed following the recent death of their daughter. Then they came to Hemalatha’s brother Dasoju Veman Kumar’s house at Paloncha in the



district.

On August 4, they again left Veman Kumar’s house and left their cell phones and wallet at his house and left a suicide note stating that they do not want to live without their daughter. They also asked Veman Kumar not to search for them. A missing complaint was lodged with Paloncha police regarding their disappearance.

Burgamphad police who received information about two dead bodies in the river rushed to the spot and identified as Hemalatha and Laxmana Chary. 

The police booked a case in connection with the incident and took up investigation.
