Hyderabad police on Saturday, 4 June, made two more arrests in the 17-year-old girl gang-rape cas while forces remained on the lookout for the remaining two accused in places outside the city.
One of them is the son of a local leader of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's Telangana Rashtra Samithi party.
Both the accused persons arrested on Saturday are minors, said
Deputy Commissioner of Police (West Zone) Joel Davis. A day ago, 18-year-old Saduddin Malik was arrested.
Out of the 5 accused already identified, a 18-year-old man was arrested on 3 June and in total 3 persons, including 2 juveniles, have been apprehended so far in the case, they said. The 2 juveniles would be produced before a juvenile court for their safe custody, police said in an official release.
