Hyderabad: Youngster booked for harassing minor girl

The Kachiguda police booked a case against a youngster on charges of harassing and demanding money from a minor girl.

Police said the accused, Harshavardhan from Doodh Bowli area became friends with the minor girl from Kachiguda, when the latter went to stay with her relative’s house recently. They had met in person a



few times and he took her pictures with his mobile phone. However, he started threatening and demanding money for not posting them on social media.

Police said he demanded Rs 40,000 and stalked her wherever she went, after which she approached the police and lodged a complaint on Thursday. Efforts are on to arrest the suspect.
