Live-in relation leads to murder in Bhongir

A 41-year-old man who had a live-in relation with a woman was beaten to death by the woman’s son in Lingojigudem village under Bhongir division on Thursday.

According to Ramchander Reddy, DCP Bhongir, the murdered man B Ramesh, was a mason in Chotuppal and a native of Khammam. He had a relationship with a woman, which was resented by her son Prasad (20). He warned him against meeting her several times, but Ramesh ignored his



warnings.

 

On Thursday morning, Prasad called up Ramesh and asked him to come down to Lingojigudem. Prasad warned him again to stay away from his mother, and both of them got into an argument. In a fit of anger, Prasad picked up a stick and beat him to death.

Prasad has been arrested by the Chotuppal police and the body has been sent to Chotuppal government hospital for autopsy. A case has been booked and investigation is on.
