A 36-year-old L&T worker was murdered by unidentified persons at an isolated place in Uppal on Thursday. The victim was identified as Mangara Munda, son of Karan Singh Raj Kishan. He was working as a helper at L&T company. Munda, a resident of L&T Labour Colony near Vijayapuri Colony in Uppal, had joined L&T two months ago.
In a complaint lodged with Uppal police on Thursday night, 40-year-old Swasthik Raju Chetri, supervisor in L&T company, said that Munda had left the house on Wednesday without informing his roommates and did not return.

heard that body of an unidentified person was found in an isolated place near Kurma Nagar in Uppal. They immidiately rushed to the spot. The workers identified the deceased as Mangara Munda and alerted the police.
“Unknown persons strangled Munda using a towel. There were injuries on his face and other parts of the body,” Uppal inspector P Venkateshwarulu said.
Based on the complaint lodged by the colleague of the victim, Uppal police registered a murder case under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and launched a manhunt to nab the offenders.
