Man arrested after shooting his parents in Delhi

New Delhi: A 20-year old man was arrested by after he allegedly shot his parents over a family dispute in Southwest Delhi.

Amit injured both his parents after shooting at them after they were leaving the residence when the trio engaged in a heated argument. The injured couple was rushed to the hospital after the neighbour’s reported the matter to police.

According to reports, the couple has four sons and was living with the eldest in Dwarka. The couple decided to visit their younger son Amit who



lives with his wife and children in Dwarka. "They had a heated argument over some family dispute and the couple decided to walk out of the flat. Just when they had reached the car parking area, the accused shot at the couple from the balcony of his flat which was at the first floor of the building," said a police officer.

The father of the accused was injured in his hip and legs while the mother received bullet injuries in her feet. Amit was taken into custody and has been booked under relevant sections of IPC.
