Man arrested on charges of raping 9-year old girl in Armoor mandal, Telangana State

Nizamabad: Armoor Rural police arrested a man on charges of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl in his neighbourhood at Aloor village in Armoor mandal. The incident came to light on Tuesday.

According to sources, Koya Venkatesh, of 10th ward colony near Tank Bund in Aloor village sexually assaulted the



girl on Sunday. The parents of the victim noticed the incident and lodged a complaint with the police.

Armoor Rural police took the accused into their custody and registered a case. The girl was sent for a medical examination. Police were investigating into the matter.
