Man arrests for molesting six year old girl

 A 42-year-old man on Wednesday arrested by Bahadurpura police for molesting a six-year-old girl. The girl was on her way to a shop to purchase chocolates along with her brother when the accused, Mazhar Khan, reportedly lured them away. Khan is said to be a government employee, and resident of Chirag Ali Nagar, Kishanbagh.

When the children did not return, their mother



went to the police and filed a complaint. Police found the girl in Khan’s house while her brother was playing nearby. When police entered the house, Mazhar Khan escaped. Based on a tip-off, police raided his house and arrested Mazhar Khan. He was booked under Section 354 of IPC (assault on a woman to outrage her modesty) and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
