Man attempts to rape minor girl

A 50-year-old man attempted to molest a minor and fled from the spot when the victim raised alarm. The incident came to light on Thursday. According to police, a 16-year-old girl, resident of Ramannagudem of Penpahad mandal in the district wrote Intermediate second year exams.

The girl raised alarm and the culprit fled from the village. Based on the girl’s parents complaint, Penpahad police on Thursday registered a case under Nirbhaya Act and hunting for the culprit.
