Man booked for repeated rape of minor girl

A case was registered against a man who allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl in Abdullapurmet on Sunday.M Nagaraju was booked under 376 (rape) of IPC and taken taken into custody after the victim's mother approached the Hayathnagar police.

According the victim's mother, the accused who is acquainted to the victim, under some pretext lured the minor girl last year and abused the victim. Similarly , a month ago again the victim



was taken to bushes and she was raped again. The accused threatened the victim not to disclose it to anyone. “The accused who is a resident of JNNURM colony in Abdullahpurmet, used to move freely with the victim. He took advantage of the friendship and abused the girl,“ police said.

When the victim informed her mother, the whole issue came to light and the family members approached the police.
