Man held for manufacturing adulterated ghee in Hyderabad

Rachakonda Special Operations Team (SOT) police arrested a 24-year-old person on charges of manufacturing adulterated ghee here on Sunday. According to the police, the suspect arrested was identified as B.Karthik, a resident of Netaji Nagar in Saroornagar.

The SOT police conducted special raids on the manufacturing unit that was being run to prepare ghee by mixing refined oil



products from the market.Following reliable information about the manufacturing of adulterated ghee, a special team formed carried out special raids on Saturday night, police said.

Adulterated ghee weighing 410 kg and other incriminating material was seized. The suspect was handed over to Saroornagar police for further investigation.
