Minor gangraped at her residence in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by a group of three persons at Meerpet of Rachakonda commissionerate in the city on Monday morning.

It was learnt that a group of persons barged into their house. Four of them threatened the girl at knife-point and others forced her brother out of the house.

Sometime later, the girl's sister came down crying and informed her brother about the assault. Following her



complaint, Meerpet police registered a case and started an investigation. The accused are believed to be belonging to another community and one of them is their neighbour and one more accused is a rowdy sheeter under Hyderabad city police.

DCP LB Nagar B. Sai Sree said they have definite clues about the identity of the three accused. Seven teams have been formed to nab the accused persons, she said.
