Minor girl raped by her father

A 13-year-old girl was raped by her father, an auto driver. The incident took place a week ago, but it came to light after the victim's mother filed a complaint at the Hayathnagar police station. The accused Meesala Madhu is absconding.

According to the police, Madhu who has been married for 14 years, had two daughters and a son. On July 27, when his wife was out at work, he allegedly called his elder daughter inside the room and raped her.

Worried that the victim would speak about the



incident, he left the house the same evening.The victim's mother came to know about the incident after she found her daughter crying.She then approached relatives, who asked her to stay quiet. Later the victim's mother found her husband missing from home and approached the police.

A case has been booked under section 376 (2) (f)(i) of IPC and relevant case of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act against the accused. Police has launched a manhunt against the accused.
