Minor raped by 15-year-old boy in UP's Bhadohi

Bhadohi (UP): A five-year-old girl has allegedly raped by teenage boy here, police said on Thursday.

The incident happened on Tuesday night in Suryawa police station area, they said.

The 15-year-old boy took the minor, who was sleeping outside her hut, to a secluded place around midnight and allegedly raped her, Additional Superintendent of Police (Bhadohi) Rajesh Bharti



said.

The boy belonged to the same locality as the victim, he said.

In the morning, the girl informed the family about the incident, he said, adding a case has been registered against the boy and he was apprehended on Wednesday evening.

The girl has been sent for medical examination, the ASP said.
