Close on the foot rear areas of exciting Koraput gang-rape case, a gathering of heels supposedly gang-raped an understudy in nearness of her fiance in Odisha's Ganjam region, police said on Tuesday.
Six people have been arrested for their speculated association in the occurrence.
As indicated by police, an understudy of Plus-Three Second Year, hailing from Bhanjanagar of Ganjam, was professedly gang-raped by six people at a woods close Budhakendu Thakurani Temple in Gangapur zone of the area on Monday.
The episode became known after the victim and her fiance held up a protest with the police.
The denounced blocked the victim when she was returning home with her fiance in the wake of going to the temple. They whipped the fiance and dragged the victim to an adjacent cashew woods and purportedly gang-raped her.
"I had gone to the temple with my fiance to offer petitions. When we were returning, six individuals dragged me to the adjacent woods and whipped my
fiance. (Every) one of them raped me, while others taped it," said the victim.
"We were coming back from the temple in the wake of having darshan at around 3.30 p.m on Monday. Six people went ahead two bicycles and caught us. They whipped me and grabbed away our cell phones from us. They took her to a close-by woods and raped her," the fiance of the victim said.
Ashish Singh, Ganjam Superintendent of Police, stated: "All the six have been captured and will be delivered in the court. We are exploring the case."
A case has been enrolled over the episode at Gangapur Police Station. The blamed and the lady would experience medical examination and after that the charged would be delivered in the court, said Utkal Keshari Dash, Bhanjanagar Sub Divisional Police Officer.
In the interim, the police are yet to grab the guilty parties associated with the Class IX young lady gang-rape case in Koraput locale on October 10. The victim has claimed that the four men were furnished and dressed as security staff.
