Police officer shoots himself at Karimnagar dist.

A police Sub-Inspector Jaganmohan hailing from Telangana's Karimnagar district on Friday night committed suicide by shooting himself dead at his residence in Peddapally town. Jaganmohan who was SI in Peddapally police station got recently transferred to Jammikunta police station. 

The officer



in a suicide note stated that he was taking the extreme step due to his transfer which deprived him of promotion and alleged that he was being transferred frequently due to political pressure. The Sub-Inspector was yet to join duties before he shot himself with his service pistol on Friday night.
